Vandal Alert

Be on the Lookout for Vandals

Vandals on quad bikes drove through the 2008 planting about a month ago causing limited damage to the site. I don’t know what possessed the idiots to do this but from a burst of pure stupidity they drove off the track that runs adjacent to the site and cleaned up some of the stakes and bags. They must have figured that they were vulnerable to staking their wheels so they stopped.

The bottom photos shows similar quad bike tracks driving into the lake area from the Robinson Road bridal pass. They managed to get their contraption through the opening and down onto the lake. They came from north of the bridal pass. Let’s hope that they don’t do it again.

I have a mobile phone number that you can call the Ranger on Duty if you see bikes or quads out where they shouldn’t be.

It is 0411 078 264. They can be contacted 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am - 5:00pm on weekends.
