The Wandi Landcare Group (WLCG) was formed in 2001 under the umbrella of the Wandi Progress Association Incorporated to assist Wandi landowners improve their properties and also work with the Kwinana Town Council to rehabilitate Lake Magenup. It is a volunteer organization relying totally on grants and funding to achieve it’s goals. The WLCG is also happy to help other landowners in the shire and Friends Groups.

This web site now has a permanent home on a dedicated hosting service. Please check back often as over time this web site will become a useful resource of landcare information and techniques including plenty of good memories from activities that volunteers have participated in. This site will keep everyone up to date on the latest news and happenings of the Wandi Landcare Group. Our goals are to better ourselves and improve the environment in which we live and have a fun time doing it.

There is an “Archive” page where you will find archived copies of the Wandi Landcare Group newsletter and the Wandi Warbler in Adobe’s PDF format. There is also an application form if you feel that you would like to join this fresh and growing group.

Membership is open to anyone that has a desire to improve their local environment and is a requirement to participate in the courses that we run. Volunteer activities are encouraged with a view to rehabilitating degraded bush land using the skills that we have learnt

We welcome all “Friends” groups in the Kwinana area to join up with us so we can help each other to rehabilitate our respective areas. As we all know there is strength in numbers.
